Congratulations on a very well done magazine. We have not seen anything published this well in the Marcellus or Utica plays of this region. It is very interesting to compare the Bakken play with the Marcellus and Utica plays that make up a large portion of our business. I just returned from a Montana hunting trip where I picked up a copy of your magazine. I have shared it with others here at work and look forward to future issues.

Thanks.

As told to me at the last O&G show we distributed the Journal at in Gillette.
“I had a guy walk into the show with a page of the Journal torn out with our Ad. He had already researched our company and knew our product line. Not only did we land a sale, but we also landed a new sales rep for our company.”

I might be a little biased in my opinion, but I think this is the BEST email you have EVER sent out. 😊

What an “attention grabber” at the beginning!

Thank you for being awesome,

Really read the latest issue front to back, particularly the article on the Voting Rules for ND, Best & Worst States to Drive In, and Code of the West. I always read each issue but really enjoyed this latest. WTG!

Chris,

I am compelled to reach out to you concerning your articles in the Journal “Trumping the Naysayers” and “Puerto Rico, The Recovery Mission”.

It is very refreshing to read about the positive aspects of these two subjects. We get so much negative in the media these days. I have to say that based on the tone (or fairness) of the articles, it is surprising to see that you are in New York; but then one has to be careful about stereotyping these days.

I hope to continue to read your contributions to the Journal.

Best Regards!

“We are very pleased with the excellent design, personal attention, and rapid response that we got from Mary and her team at the Bakken Oil Business Journal (BOBJ). We are closing our first business deal (worth more than $250k) as a result of a lead generated from our exposure in the magazine. Thank you so much Mary & team.

Chris,
Thank you for the excellent articles on “The People’s Climate March and The Moral Case for Fossil Fuels”. I have not yet read Alex’s book, but I intend to do so.
I referenced a number of my non-oil and some-what left-leaning family members to these article. Hopefully, it gives them a new perspective on the benefits oil production.
I have worked in the industry for 45 years. Most of us are honest folks trying to do our jobs better each day.  The NIMBY people out there really give me heartburn some times.
Think the industry will get credit for the lower gasoline prices, or will the media give that to the government or Saudia Arabia?
Keep up the good work!

Hey Mary, Just wanted to drop a quick note to tell you how impressed I was upon viewing your Bakken Oil Business Journal for the first time this weekend.  I visited my parents in Bozeman for the weekend (whilst catching the Cat game) and my dad shared a copy with me: Nice! Quite an impressive publication – and fun to see! – Regards, Ginny Jensen
